Eve Nelson
Composer, Arranger
Born in Miami Beach, Eve demonstrated her musical talent early. As a teenager, she won a state Mozart competition and wrote and produced her first dance single, “Love’s Calling,” which reached the Top 40 on the Billboard charts. At 20, she composed the Boston Celtics theme, which led to an ongoing relationship with Russo/Grantham as a composer for commercial work.
Eve’s musical versatility spans a wide range of styles, from orchestral and rock to ballads, R&B, hip-hop and funk. As a songwriter, producer and arranger, she has worked with notable artists including Donna Summer, Exposé, Angela Bofill, Tramaine Hawkins, Sybil and Taylor Dayne. Notably, her work as producer and arranger on Chaka Khan’s critically acclaimed album ClassiKhan marked an important career milestone.
Her advertising credits include Panasonic, NBC Asia, TNT and Warner Bros.
