An honest-to-goodness child prodigy, Shane was offered a scholarship to Juilliard at 16. He chose rock and roll instead and completed North Texas State University's comprehensive music program.
In a twenty-year record career he has performed and arranged more than 1,000 Top 40 records, collected 25 gold and platinum albums, and served as a staff producer for Ahmet Ertegun at Atlantic Records. He has designed sound libraries for Yamaha, Oberheim, and Moog, and did R&D for Synclavier.
Shane scored the film Ernest Goes to Camp and has created music for Sara Lee, Slim Fast, Gulden's Mustard, Diet Dr Pepper, Fox News, and HBO.
